Full moon

spectrum

Colour  temperature:  3810 K

CRI*:  98

Compare the spectral content of a natural full moon light and LED street lighting during nighttime!

Note:

The light intensity of a full moon is 1 LUX. The spectrometer shows a measure of 5 because the intensity was measured through binoculars (8×56). The intensity is at its peak during the full moon and decreases afterwords – for example the third day after holds 0,8 LUX and the sixth under 0,5 LUX.

*Colour rendering index is the ability of a light source to reveal the colors of objects faithfully in comparison with an ideal or natural light source of CRI 100 (the maximum).
